Intern, Powertrain Manufacturing (Electric Vehicles)

Location: Garden Grove, California, United States; 4–5 days in-office per week

Salary: $25–35 USD per hour

What you will do

• Support the development and manufacturing of the powertrain system, including the rotor, stator, and Electric Drive Unit.
• Assist with designing, testing, and validating production tooling and equipment.
• Develop manufacturing standards, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
• Prepare reports and presentations communicating findings and recommendations.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States or able to obtain a J-1/F-1 visa.
• Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program or higher in a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and task-management skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
