Manager, Field Medical (MSL)

Location: Japan, with a hybrid work environment based at the Tokyo office. Frequent domestic and international travel of up to 70% is required.

What you will do

• Identify and develop professional relationships with thought leaders, investigators, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Present scientific data and medical information on hirify.global products and relevant disease areas.
• Execute advisory boards and scientific forums, capturing and communicating healthcare professional insights.
• Support clinical studies, investigator selection, investigator communications, and investigator-initiated study submissions.
• Provide medical and scientific input for product planning, clinical intelligence, publications, and medical execution.
• Mentor internal colleagues and discuss data-generation opportunities addressing unmet medical needs.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company, including at least 3 years as an MSL in a global Medical Affairs setting.
• Experience with global product launches and a background in pulmonary hypertension or pulmonary fibrosis.
• Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Science, or an equivalent field; a PhD is preferred.
• Strong understanding of legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements, with strategic thinking, analytical skills, and strong business acumen.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in Japanese and English.
• Non-smoker and able to travel domestically and internationally up to 70%.

• Experience in health outcomes, pharmacoeconomics, or population-based health management.
• Experience improving, developing, and implementing new processes.
• PhD in a relevant field.
