Medical Science Liaison (Bone)

What you will do

• Lead medical and scientific projects, evidence generation activities, publications, and large medical events supporting the Bone business.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with scientific experts, opinion leaders, and cooperative study groups.
• Discuss scientific value messages, clinical outcomes, and patient benefits with external experts.
• Develop engagement plans, provide field insights, and contribute to local medical and product strategy.
• Identify research opportunities and support investigator-sponsored studies, hirify.global-sponsored trials, and local clinical trial operations.
• Coordinate advisory boards, investigator meetings, expert panels, congress engagement, and scientific education programs.

Requirements

• Degree in life science or a relevant discipline.
• At least two years of pharmaceutical industry experience or proven industry collaboration in academia.
• Experience in Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, or a related field.
• Knowledge of osteoporosis, orthopedics, or other metabolic bone diseases.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with scientific experts and internal stakeholders.
• Native-level Japanese and business-level English are required.

Nice to have

• Master’s, PhD, MD, or PharmD degree.
• Orthopedics experience at a medical device company.
• Experience managing or conducting medical and scientific studies.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical product development, lifecycle management, commercialization, clinical research, medical writing, and KOL management.
• Existing customer network in the therapeutic area and project management capability.
