Area Business Manager (Hematology Oncology) (Pharmaceutical Sales): Driving oncology sales objectives across the Manhattan territory through customer relationships, territory planning, and compliant promotion of the Sanofi oncology portfolio with an accent on hematology and oncology customer engagement. Focus on developing business plans, coordinating cross-functional field partners, positioning product information, and executing account strategies in hospital and cancer-center environments.

Location: Remote, United States; responsible for the Manhattan territory.

What you will do

  • Develop and update quarterly territory business plans aligned with marketing strategies and customer insights.
  • Build and maintain relationships with hematologists, oncologists, hospitals, cancer centers, and other key customers.
  • Position oncology product information and promote appropriate use of the hirify.global oncology portfolio.
  • Coordinate strategy execution with Key Account Managers, Thought Leader Liaisons, Certified Educators, Medical, and other field partners.
  • Manage account targeting, time planning, call reporting, business plan updates, expense reports, and required training.
  • Operate in accordance with pharmaceutical promotion, compliance, fleet safety, and driving requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; business or life science focus preferred.
  • At least two years of specialty biotech sales experience.
  • Ability and willingness to collaborate, plan strategically, and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Oncology or hematology sales experience preferred; rare disease or medical device experience is also relevant.
  • Familiarity with hospital and cancer-center environments preferred.
  • Ability to safely drive a company car to daily meetings and appointments and maintain an acceptable driving record.
