Salary: $116,820–$216,100 base pay, plus eligibility for a company performance bonus and potential long-term incentives or a company vehicle depending on level.

What you will do

  • Build scientific and clinical relationships with healthcare providers, key opinion leaders, academic institutions, organized healthcare networks, and managed care organizations.
  • Educate healthcare professionals and formulary stakeholders on approved products, devices, scientific data, and health economics and outcomes research.
  • Coordinate clinical trial and study activities, including site initiation, investigator support, patient recruitment and retention, and study completion.
  • Develop medical account strategies and territory plans in collaboration with the Field Director and regional Field Medical Affairs colleagues.
  • Deliver product updates, formulary presentations, medical forums, round tables, workshops, and other scientific education programs.
  • Collaborate with Medical, Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Government, HEOR, and clinical teams to address regional scientific and clinical needs.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree required.
  • At least two years of experience in a healthcare system, pharmaceutical company, or managed care environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate scientific and clinical information to healthcare stakeholders.
  • Experience or business acumen related to formulary decision-making.
  • Ability to cover the assigned four-state territory and travel overnight 50–75% of the time.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record required.

  • Relevant clinical or therapeutic experience.
