Sr. Specialist, Program Management (Defense Tech)

What you will do

• Assist with directing programs from proposal development through completion.
• Drive execution of an existing continuous-production product line against order, revenue, profit, and cash-flow objectives.
• Manage program cost, schedule, technical performance, and the integrated master schedule.
• Coordinate with customers, production, program support, supply chain, and finance teams.
• Lead customer reviews and brief customers and senior management on program performance.
• Support forecasting, reporting, variance justification, and on-time, on-budget delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree and at least 4 years of related experience.
• Applicants without a degree must have at least 10 years of related experience.
• Ability to obtain a US security clearance; security clearances may only be granted to US citizens.
• Ability to travel up to 15% and work overtime when needed.
• Experience communicating with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on program objectives.

Nice to have

• Experience with Department of Defense contract execution.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Working knowledge of production systems, production methods, and lean manufacturing principles.
