TL;DR
Sr Program Manager (Defense Acquisition and Risk Management): Supporting Air Force lifecycle management and Electronic Warfare Division programs through acquisition support, risk analysis, and mitigation planning with an accent on DoD weapon system management, program risk, and cross-functional coordination. Focus on identifying and resolving complex programmatic issues, tracking mitigation plans across engineering, logistics, finance, and contracting, and supporting design reviews, configuration boards, and IPT meetings.
Location: On-site in Warner Robins, Georgia, United States; minimal travel of 0–20%.

What you will do
- Provide acquisition support to the Air Force Lifecycle Management Center and Electronic Warfare Division at Robins Air Force Base.
- Deliver risk management analysis and programmatic deliverables across the division portfolio.
- Identify, analyze, track, and report program risks and mitigation progress.
- Develop and manage risk mitigation and avoidance plans across management, engineering, logistics, financial management, and contracting.
- Support issue resolution, including issues outside the formal risk management program.
- Participate in design reviews, configuration management boards, Integrated Product Team meetings, financial reviews, and related program management activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or business administration.
- At least 10 years of directly related experience.
- Top Secret security clearance required.
- Comprehensive knowledge of USAF weapon system management processes, policies, procedures, and ACAT I/II/III program management functions.
- Knowledge of the DoD Risk, Issue, and Opportunity Management Guide, DoDI 5000.02, and AFLCMC policies and procedures.
- DAWIA Program Management Practitioner certification or equivalent, strong communication and problem-solving skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and ability to travel.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree.
- 20 or more years of DoD weapon system management experience.
- At least five years of ACAT I/II program management experience.
- DAWIA Advanced or Level III Program Management certification or equivalent.
- Experience with risk management software, multiple Air Force or DoD centers, and formal presentations and documents.
