Sr Program Manager (Defense)

Location: Onsite in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. The role requires access to NOFORN information and therefore requires proof of US citizenship and an attestation of no dual citizenship. Travel of up to 20% is expected.

What you will do

• Lead integrated program teams and own performance across schedule, cost, technical execution, and profitability.
• Manage senior-level customer relationships, expectations, negotiations, and contract compliance.
• Develop and govern integrated master schedules, program budgets, milestones, and critical paths.
• Identify and mitigate risks while pursuing opportunities to improve program performance and profitability.
• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality functions in a matrixed environment.
• Oversee major subcontractors and suppliers, financial reporting, EAC analysis, and program health reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, a related technical field, or Business Management.
• At least 8 years of experience leading complex technical programs in design, manufacturing, defense, or aerospace environments.
• Direct experience with design/build or complex manufacturing programs.
• US citizenship and no dual citizenship are required for access to NOFORN information.
• Strong knowledge of government contracting, including FAR and DFARS regulations, plus experience managing global subcontractors and suppliers.
• Strong financial, analytical, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills; proficiency with MS Office, Office 365, and MS Project.

• PMP certification.
• Previous machine-shop experience.
