Product Engineers (AI)

Location: New York, NY, US; full-time in-person work in NYC is required. Occasional travel to London is expected for retreats and collaboration.

Salary: $180K–$280K annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Design and build new UI and web components.
• Develop integrations with third-party services and AI models.
• Triage bugs, investigate production incidents, and contribute to postmortems and root-cause analysis.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Ability to contribute across the product stack and take ownership of end-to-end deployment.
• Experience designing simple, effective solutions to complex technical problems.
• Interest in scalable infrastructure and improving engineering practices.
• Relevant experience with Python, Flask, FastAPI, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Terraform, GCP, AWS, or Vercel.
• Must be based full-time in NYC and work in person.
