Product Engineer (Full Stack)

Location: San Francisco, California; hybrid schedule with 4 days per week onsite

Base salary: $140,000–$180,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Build and deploy end-to-end product features across the full stack using Python and Next.js/TypeScript.
• Own features from requirements gathering and architecture through implementation, testing, deployment, and iteration.
• Develop AI-powered claims review and adjudication capabilities to identify inaccuracies and improve operational efficiency.
• Create financial infrastructure, money movement capabilities, and self-service tools for health plan and insurance workflows.
• Improve member-facing experiences and collaborate with customers, teammates, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Help shape technical architecture and engineering best practices as the platform scales.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer delivering production-quality applications.
• Strong experience with Python and TypeScript, or comparable technologies with the ability to learn quickly.
• Experience building modern web applications, APIs, and scalable software systems, including familiarity with Next.js or similar frameworks.
• Experience owning products or features from conception to launch and working across front-end and back-end systems.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills in fast-moving environments.
• Enthusiasm for working onsite in San Francisco as part of a highly collaborative team.
