Asset Protection Operations Coach

Location: Highlands Ranch, Colorado, United States; onsite facility-based role.

Salary: $65,000–$100,000 per year, plus potential annual or quarterly performance bonuses and applicable pay differentials.

What you will do

• Lead asset protection operations, inventory control reviews, loss prevention processes, and corrective actions across store facilities.
• Detect, deter, investigate, and resolve alleged fraud, policy violations, and criminal activity; gather evidence, take statements, prepare case reports, and provide court testimony when required.
• Monitor safety and risk controls, supervise safety team members, analyze accident trends, and implement accident-prevention plans.
• Manage claims and receiving operations, including damaged, defective, returned, liquidated, and delivered merchandise, while maintaining required documentation and reporting.
• Train, coach, hire, mentor, and develop associates and managers while communicating operational goals and company standards.
• Support merchandise presentation, customer service, business initiatives, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Completion of two years of college, or qualifying experience in supervision, accounting, claims, inventory control, systems/UPC, personnel, loss prevention, or asset protection.
• Successful completion of applicable state requirements for asset protection work, including age, training, certification, or licensing requirements.
• Current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility where applicable.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and firearms-authorized training where applicable.
• Completion of all required job training and assessments.
• Must work at the Highlands Ranch, Colorado facility.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Criminal Justice.
• Certification in asset protection or loss prevention.
• Experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
• Investigative experience.
