Chief Technology Officer (AI)

Location: Remote-based in the United States

Annual salary: $220,000–$230,000, commensurate with experience

What you will do

• Own the technology strategy and execution across product engineering, enterprise IT, cloud infrastructure, data, and corporate cybersecurity.
• Lead enterprise IT operations, including endpoint management, automated provisioning, helpdesk services, productivity suites, collaboration architecture, and business systems.
• Advise the CEO, executive leadership, and Board on technical risk, disaster recovery, business continuity, digital transformation, and cyber resilience.
• Establish security, identity, access, data protection, compliance, and audit-readiness programs across corporate systems.
• Oversee the integration or standalone scaling of prototypes and emerging technology initiatives, while reducing vendor lock-in through data portability and integration standards.
• Manage the Chief Product, Engineering, and Data Officer, budgets, prioritization, and the growth of high-performing IT and security teams.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including Director of IT, Head of IT, VP of IT, or CTO experience.
• Experience operating enterprise IT and information systems, zero-trust architectures, identity and access management, and automated endpoint management.
• Experience managing CapEx and OpEx strategies, SaaS licensing, hardware procurement, and third-party vendor governance.
• Proven leadership of enterprise security operations and SOC 2 Type II or ISO 27001 audit cycles.
• Expertise in enterprise collaboration platforms and workplace productivity suites.
• Experience communicating with non-technical employees, executives, and Board members, building technical teams, and scaling internal IT during organizational growth.
