Overnight Associate Booking Producer

Location: New York, NY; hybrid schedule with a minimum of four office days per week. Must have unrestricted work authorization in the United States. Sunday–Thursday afternoon to mid-overnight schedule, typically ending around 2–3 a.m.

Salary: $65,000–$80,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage short- and long-term guest bookings across NBC News television, streaming, and digital platforms.
• Pitch story ideas and coordinate bookings launched by editorial teams and shows.
• Arrange guest travel, live-shot logistics, editorial guidance, and pre-interviews.
• Support on-set and remote guest coordination for taped and live segments.
• Direct field bookers and coordinate guests and analysts during breaking news.
• Prepare daily booking notes and comprehensive handovers for the next day.

Requirements

• At least two years of network-level production or booking experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong journalistic writing, research, interpersonal, multitasking, and editorial judgment skills.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms, news, current events, and NBC News policies and guidelines.
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY and maintain unrestricted work authorization in the United States.
• Must be available for flexible overnight hours, additional work with little or no notice, tight deadlines, breaking news, and travel with little notice or for extended periods.
