Simulation Software Engineering Internship (Aerospace)

Location: Los Angeles, California, USA; in-person collaboration at the Playa Vista office.

What you will do

• Develop closed-loop spacecraft test platforms.
• Build six degrees of freedom simulation platforms, software-in-the-loop, and hardware-in-the-loop systems.
• Execute simulation testing strategies to validate and verify satellite system performance, functionality, and reliability.
• Take ownership of an assigned project with guidance from a dedicated mentor.
• Collaborate with the broader engineering team and participate in aerospace learning sessions.

Requirements

• Graduating in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027.
• Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in C or C++.
• Passion for engineering, satellites, reliability, and efficiency.

Nice to have

• Experience with modeling and embedded systems.
