Adult Health/Medical-Surgical Clinical Faculty (Part-Time): Delaware (Nursing)

Location: Onsite clinical teaching in Wilmington, Delaware, USA. Clinical schedules most commonly involve 12-hour rotations from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for three to four consecutive days.

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Teach adult health and medical-surgical nursing in clinical settings with partner healthcare organizations.
• Plan clinical experiences and supervise students delivering nursing care to individuals or groups.
• Evaluate student performance and provide documented feedback based on course objectives.
• Provide remediation, assign clinical work, and grade academic and clinical submissions.
• Maintain knowledge of agency policies and communicate student or clinical-site concerns to course leadership.
• May teach didactic course content under the supervision of the course coordinator.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered professional nursing license in Delaware required.
• At least two years of registered-nurse experience in the instructional specialty within the last five years.
• An Illinois RN license is required to teach all courses.
• Strong nursing subject-matter expertise and written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for nursing education, lifelong learning, and supporting students and colleagues.
