TL;DR
Deployment Project Manager (Warehouse Robotics & Automation): Leading end-to-end warehouse robotics and automation deployments for clients with an accent on cross-functional coordination, technical milestones, risk management, and project profitability. Focus on managing complex multi-million-dollar projects, coordinating installation and commissioning, negotiating change orders, and supporting client sites across North America.

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; travel approximately 50% to client sites across North America.

What you will do

  • Lead warehouse robotics and automation deployment projects from planning through completion.
  • Align project scope, contractual deliverables, and client expectations with Sales and Deployment Integration teams.
  • Coordinate installation and commissioning resources and ensure technical milestones, system testing, and acceptance are completed.
  • Manage contractors, operational teams, RFQ and qualification processes, risks, budgets, cost variances, and project margins.
  • Act as the main client contact, facilitating stakeholder communication, steering committees, and executive updates.
  • Prepare, negotiate, and defend change orders and scope adjustments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • General knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering and broad knowledge of logistics.
  • At least 7 years of technical or logistics project management experience leading cross-functional teams through the full project lifecycle.
  • Experience managing complex projects, preferably including multi-million-dollar budgets.
  • Strong communication, leadership, autonomy, and decision-making skills, including communication with senior stakeholders and CEOs.
  • Proficiency with multiple project planning tools and software; willingness to travel approximately 50% across North America.
