HR Consultant

Location: Remote with occasional onsite work in Cincinnati, Ohio

Company

Provides HR consulting and organizational support to clients, particularly in hospitality and consumer-facing industries.

What you will do

• Create, update, and maintain employee handbooks and HR policies.
• Develop HR guidelines, internal processes, and practical organizational solutions.
• Help clients build and improve their HR foundations as they grow.
• Design and deliver training programs based on organizational needs.
• Support organizational development, performance management, employee engagement, talent management, and people management.
• Advise founders, executives, managers, and other stakeholders on HR matters and client projects.

Requirements

• Professional HR experience in the U.S. or with U.S.-based companies.
• Experience supporting HR functions in the restaurant and/or retail industries.
• Hands-on expertise in one or more HR disciplines.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and practical problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with founders, executives, and managers.
• Experience as an HR Consultant, HRBP, HR Manager, or in a similar role, including organizational development or corporate training.

Nice to have

• Experience in RPO, recruiting, or talent acquisition.
• Experience with startups or high-growth companies.
• Experience providing HR consulting services to multiple companies or clients.
• Japanese language skills.
