SAP Application Solutions Management - S4 FI/CO (SAP S/4HANA)

Location: Santa Clara, California or Austin, Texas, United States. Travel required up to 10% of the time. Relocation is not available.

Salary: $122,000–$168,000 per year

What you will do

• Define finance systems strategy, standards, and requirements across SAP RTR and adjacent finance domains.
• Translate Finance and Accounting needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Lead and prioritize the SAP AP, GL accounting, financial close, and PTP product backlog and roadmap.
• Partner with SAP developers and architecture teams on posting logic, close processes, reconciliations, and reporting improvements.
• Own sprint planning, backlog refinement, release readiness, and governance across internal teams and implementation partners.
• Optimize end-to-end RTR and PTP workflows, addressing ledger alignment, close schedules, controls, and automation.

Requirements

• 10–12 years of experience as a Technical Product Owner, Business Analyst, or functional lead supporting SAP RTR, AP, or financial ERP processes.
• Strong SAP S/4HANA Finance expertise, including FI/CO, financial posting logic, and financial close processes.
• Experience aligning finance processes with accounting policies, SAP guidelines, internal controls, and global templates.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Agile delivery experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Bachelor’s degree or CPA and SAP Finance certification are preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-entity, multi-product, or global financial operating models.
• Experience in ERP transformation, stabilization, or financial modernization programs.
• CPA or a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Information Systems.
• SAP Finance certifications.
