Logistics Specialist (Supply Chain)

Location: Onsite in Newark, New Jersey, United States. Travel 10–20% required. Valid authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 per year, with potential discretionary bonuses and incentives.

What you will do

• Support end-to-end trade operations across shipping modes, warehouse receiving, shipment tracking, and final delivery.
• Manage carrier performance, shipment delays, rate requests, invoice disputes, and freight payment processes.
• Lead daily operations meetings, root cause analysis, corrective action planning, and leadership updates.
• Develop logistics KPIs, reporting requirements, project plans, process maps, value stream maps, and RACIs.
• Build Power BI dashboards, perform ad hoc analysis, and drive decisions from complex operational datasets.
• Automate manual logistics processes and collaborate with business units, carriers, customers, and the Global Freight Network team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in logistics and operations.
• Experience with Lean continuous improvement and strong attention to detail when working with large datasets.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel or comparable tools for complex data analysis.
• Strong verbal and written communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and project support skills.
• Valid authorization to work in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Lean certification, PMP, or ASCM certification.
• Familiarity with SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Experience with Power Automate, Alteryx, Blue Prism, or other RPA tools.
• Understanding of Gartner’s Magic Quadrant industry-leading solutions.
