TL;DR
PLM/PDM System Analyst: Maintaining, integrating, and troubleshooting PLM/PDM infrastructure and factory systems for lithium-ion battery manufacturing with an accent on database management, system monitoring, application integration, and onsite operational support. Focus on architecting reliable solutions, resolving manufacturing-system issues, and supporting CAD, PDM, ERP, and project management technologies.

Location: Onsite in Sparks, Nevada, United States. Valid authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction is required.

What you will do

  • Maintain, optimize, troubleshoot, upgrade, install, configure, and document PLM/PDM infrastructure and related databases.
  • Administer and integrate CAD, PDM, ERP, project management, middleware, and application systems.
  • Monitor system health, availability, logs, scheduled jobs, data integrity, and key operational processes.
  • Collaborate with business users, engineers, vendors, analysts, and leadership on requirements and technical solutions.
  • Resolve hardware, application, device, peripheral, and manufacturing-process issues through onsite ticket support.
  • Develop operational deliverables, documentation, and best-practice solutions while supporting system compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, business information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in a factory or enterprise environment, including at least 2 years with PLM systems.
  • Technical experience with PLM technologies such as CAD, PDM, ERP, and PMO systems.
  • Ability to explain technical information, train users, create clear documentation, and collaborate across functions.
  • Working-level English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Ability to work onsite in Sparks, Nevada, outside normal business hours and on weekends when needed; valid U.S. work authorization without restriction is required.

Nice to have

  • PLM/PDM certification or Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or higher.
  • Experience with database management, SQL, or Oracle.
  • Previous factory-environment experience and cross-functional collaboration.
