Sr MES Functional Analyst (Camstar)

Location: Alameda, California, United States; on-site work required

Annual base salary: $142,000–$200,000, plus benefits and equity when applicable.

hirify.global’s Information Technology department supports manufacturing execution systems and related technology projects.

What you will do

• Implement, support, and enhance manufacturing execution system projects, including the rollout of an electronic device history record solution.
• Model business processes and architect solutions that improve MES efficiency and accuracy.
• Gather and document business requirements, use cases, user stories, specifications, data mappings, and success measures.
• Design and deploy MES transactions, screens, enhancements, and integrations with PLM, QMS, and ERP applications.
• Advise business units on MES best practices, drive adoption, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Train users and super-users while ensuring adherence to quality, security, privacy, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field with 8+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience deploying Camstar MES systems.
• Strong experience developing and maintaining business and technical documentation for MES software.
• Excellent communication, organization, prioritization, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness and ability to work on site in Alameda, California.

Nice to have

• MES/MESA certification.
• Hands-on manufacturing shop-floor management and distribution operations experience.
• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or another regulated industry.
