Business Systems Analyst (Production) (Aerospace)

Location: Houston, United States; generally an office environment, with occasional inside or outside work depending on the task.

What you will do

• Gather, document, and validate production requirements for ERP, PLM/MES, Atlassian, and related systems.
• Translate production needs into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementation roadmaps.
• Map current and future production workflows and data flows covering inventory, scheduling, quality control, work orders, and asset tracking.
• Support the configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting of manufacturing systems.
• Coordinate UAT, test plans, defect tracking, data validation, and migration activities.
• Create process documentation, SOPs, work instructions, and training materials while supporting change management and system optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, business administration, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience as a business analyst, production analyst, or similar professional supporting manufacturing or operations.
• Experience with ERP and MES/PLM systems, including manufacturing modules; Deltek Costpoint and Siemens Teamcenter/Opcenter experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience gathering production requirements, documenting processes, mapping workflows and data flows, and writing functional specifications.
• Experience with system implementations, upgrades, integrations, UAT planning, execution, and defect management.
• Access to export-controlled technical data may require U.S. export-control screening under NASA regulations, ITAR, or EAR; meeting eligibility requirements is a condition of employment.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP, Atlassian tools, middleware, APIs, iPaaS, BI tools, Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Agile, or Scrum.
• Knowledge of IoT/IIoT manufacturing data collection systems, business analysis certifications, or TOGAF.
