Field Service Engineer Northern Los Angeles, CA (Tuesday–Saturday Shift) (Diagnostics)

Location: Northern Los Angeles, California, United States; fully remote from home within the assigned territory. Tuesday–Saturday shift with 10% overnight travel within the territory.

Salary: $33.00–$38.00 per hour, plus eligible bonus/incentive pay and housing allowance.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, install, perform preventive maintenance on, and repair Beckman Coulter diagnostic equipment.
• Provide efficient customer service and technical product training.
• Maintain customer service logs and internal service records, order repair parts, and meet service cycle times.
• Use OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint for service call planning and team objectives.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and help train newer Field Service Engineers.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree, military experience, or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotic, electronic equipment, or instrumentation.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel overnight within the assigned territory and lift, move, or carry equipment up to 50 lb.

Nice to have

• Two or more years of advanced troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventive maintenance, modification, or service repair experience.
• Experience developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
• Technical college major in biomedical technology, engineering, or a related field.
