Wireless Software Lead – C-V2X (Connected Vehicle Systems)

What you will do

• Lead hands-on development, integration, validation, and production launch of C-V2X software for connected and software-defined vehicles.
• Lead and mentor embedded, middleware, integration, and test engineers.
• Act as the primary technical interface for the customer and coordinate with the engineering team in Lund, Sweden.
• Develop middleware connecting vehicle ECUs with C-V2X modules and integrate Qualcomm or equivalent V2X SDKs and APIs.
• Integrate cloud and backend services, security provisioning, OTA updates, and ADAS interfaces.
• Ensure automotive cybersecurity compliance and system-level validation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of embedded software development experience and 3+ years leading technical teams in wireless connectivity or automotive software.
• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong C/C++, Embedded Linux, RTOS, and multithreaded software development skills.
• Hands-on experience with C-V2X, 3GPP cellular technologies, LTE, 5G NR, and vehicle networking protocols.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, QoS, routing, network diagnostics, and third-party wireless chipset or SDK integration.
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, communication, and client collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Qualcomm platforms, C-V2X chipsets, Android Automotive OS, or AUTOSAR Adaptive.
• Participation in V2X field trials, connected vehicle deployments, or autonomous driving programs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and connected vehicle services.
