Location: Onsite at the manufacturing and test facility in Briggs, Texas, north of Austin; travel up to 15% to support launch operations.

What you will do
- Execute and oversee testing of flight and ground support hardware, including hydraulic, pneumatic, proof, leak, and electrical assessments.
- Prepare, validate, and refine test procedures with engineering teams for varied test conditions and configurations.
- Assist with the design, fabrication, and assembly of test fixtures, stands, and specialized equipment.
- Support launch pad preparation, final inspections, configuration verification, troubleshooting, and safety compliance.
- Assemble complex flight systems using technical documentation, CAD models, and structured work orders.
- Coordinate daily test activities, manage technical risks, and improve safety and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in an aerospace, manufacturing, military, or automotive environment.
- High attention to detail, strong self-management, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods in a test stand environment.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the authorizations required under ITAR regulations.
Nice to have
- Associate degree in engineering, technical, or mechanical studies; A&P license.
- Experience with airframe structural repair, avionics, aviation electronics, hydraulic plumbing, or aerospace ground support equipment.
- Experience with hazardous or critical operations, test process optimization, crane and lift operations, overhead crane and rigging.
- Knowledge of NPT, MS, A/N, and Swagelok fittings, operating system schematics, and technical drawings.
- SAE certification or training, plus experience with Confluence, JIRA, and technical data compilation.
