Location: Wallops Island, Virginia, United States; work may also involve facilities in Baltimore, Maryland, Long Beach, California, and Stennis Space Center, Mississippi.
Salary: $25–$33 USD per hour base pay.

What you will do
- Create, implement, and document Neutron assembly and test procedures.
- Build, integrate, and test mechanical, fluid, and avionics launch vehicle systems.
- Provide hands-on leadership and train technicians in aerospace installation and testing standards.
- Troubleshoot unforeseen issues and improve workflow efficiency and best practices.
- Define technician workstation and tooling requirements for Neutron integration.
- Collaborate with production, manufacturing, and integration teams across sites.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of assembly and/or testing experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to stand and walk for an entire 8+ hour shift, climb ladders, work at elevated heights and in confined spaces, and perform repetitive physical movements.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Availability for extended hours, weekends, and varied shifts as operational needs require.
- For US office work, eligibility must satisfy US Government ITAR access requirements, including US citizenship, lawful permanent residence, refugee or asylum status, or applicable export authorizations.
Nice to have
- Launch vehicle fluid-system assembly and testing experience, including pneumatic and cryogenic systems.
- Troubleshooting, precision cleaning, component disassembly and assembly, and system testing skills.
- Experience operating forklifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, scissor lifts, power tools, and torque wrenches.
- Cleanroom and ISO cleanliness standards experience.
- Tube bending, tube flaring, mechanical assembly, avionics installation, and harness routing experience.
