Location: United States (Remote); the role is associated with Greenville, South Carolina, and may require support for field assignments, factory inspections, and work at company or project sites.

Salary: $114,960–$172,440 per year

hirify.global is hiring for its MC Engineering Operations Services division to deliver complex engineering projects.

What you will do

• Develop electrical engineering design criteria, specifications, scopes, budgets, schedules, and staffing plans.
• Provide technical oversight for electrical engineering components and monitor scope changes across assigned projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design efforts and collaborate with client personnel.
• Review drawings and documentation for accuracy, code compliance, constructability, and quality.
• Prepare quotation requests and purchase orders, support field assignments, and conduct factory inspections.
• Lead and supervise project teams and perform electrical power system studies, including short-circuit, coordination, and arc-flash assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Eligibility and acceptance by the State Board of Engineers for Professional Engineer licensure is mandatory; an active PE license is strongly preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in relevant electrical engineering roles.
• Experience with industrial medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution, including lighting, grounding, lightning protection, power distribution, heat tracing, and electrical area classification.
• Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, NEMA, NFPA, and related industry codes and standards.
• Strong project execution, leadership, communication, organization, and team supervision skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Recap, SKM, and ETAP.
