Location: Hybrid in Fort Worth, Dallas, or Austin, Texas, United States; travel required for project and site activities.

What you will do
- Design complete electrical systems, including power, lighting, generators, and controls, for water and wastewater treatment plants and pump stations.
- Analyze existing electrical systems and develop cost-effective rehabilitation or expansion improvements.
- Support projects from pre-proposal and design through construction delivery.
- Prepare and review electrical calculations, drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Assess equipment, witness electrical testing and startup, and perform quality control reviews for technical accuracy and code compliance.
- Coordinate schedules, budgets, clients, subcontractors, multidisciplinary teams, and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Professional Engineer license in Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, or Florida.
- 5+ years of electrical engineering experience and experience supporting projects through all design and construction phases.
- Strong understanding of NEC, NESC, and NFPA 820.
- Experience with power system analysis, including short-circuit, motor-starting, and load-flow studies.
- Ability to work with clients and subcontractors and travel as required.
Nice to have
- Experience designing electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment plants and pump stations.
- Related experience in power generation, pulp and paper, chemical, midstream, or oil and gas refining.
- Ability to obtain Professional Engineer licensure in additional U.S. states.
- Proficiency with SKM, ETAP, AutoCAD, or Revit.
