Sr Sequencing Sales Specialist - Toronto (Genomics)

Location: Remote, Ontario, Canada; territory travel is required

Salary: CAD 89,200–133,800 base salary annually, plus eligible bonus or commission and potential equity.

What you will do

• Develop and implement territory sales plans aligned with company objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand existing life sciences accounts.
• Build relationships with key opinion leaders and other decision-makers.
• Deliver product presentations and technical information to support adoption of sequencing technologies.
• Monitor competitive activity and market trends to inform sales strategy.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to execute commercial initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree in life sciences, or 3+ years with a master's degree.
• Experience in the life sciences industry, preferably with genomics and DNA sequencing technologies.
• Proven record of exceeding sales targets and growing market share.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
