Trading Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Run daily trade desk operations across equities, options, and fixed income, monitoring order flow, routing, executions, and market events.
• Review risk-sensitive orders, manage not-held orders through algorithmic strategies or RFQ, and resolve execution anomalies.
• Process fixed income orders across treasuries, municipals, corporates, and brokered CDs, including pricing, availability, and settlement exceptions.
• Support Credit Risk with margin-call liquidations, buying-power questions, and PDT, Good Faith, and Freeride restrictions.
• Research and resolve trade breaks, cancels, rebills, corrections, trade errors, and handoffs across desk, clearing, and settlement workflows.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to build scalable trading workflows and pilot AI and automation for break triage, exception handling, and advisor responses.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience on a trading desk, in trading operations, or in execution services at a broker-dealer or custodian.
• Hands-on experience with equity and options order handling, routing, trade support, trade breaks, corrections, and error accounts.
• Working knowledge of fixed income order flow, bond market mechanics, margin calls, buying power, and liquidations.
• Experience with OMS and routing platforms such as Sterling, clearing platforms such as FIS Phase 3, and RFQ platforms.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large trade datasets and internal tools.
• FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 are required; Series 57 is required or must be obtained within 90 days. Series 24, Series 4, and Series 52 are required or must be obtained as applicable.

Nice to have

• Experience with fixed income venues and data tools such as Tradeweb, MarketAxess, ICE Bonds, or Bloomberg.
• Experience supporting or mentoring others and interest in progressing toward people leadership.
