Senior Accounting Analyst (Corporate Accounting)

Location: Chicago, IL, United States; expected to work in the office at least 4 days per week

Annual base salary: $120,000–$130,000 USD

What you will do

• Drive month-end close activities across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and GAAP-compliant reporting.
• Manage automated daily cash reconciliations, investigate breaks, post resolutions, and identify further process automations.
• Analyze monthly variances, trends, and anomalies to explain business performance.
• Support intercompany accounting, consolidations, and equity-related processes in a multinational structure.
• Maintain accounting records for several subsidiaries and support accounting for components of firm-wide spend.
• Partner with external auditors and tax teams by preparing schedules and documenting accounting support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of accounting experience owning general ledger activities, reconciling complex accounts, and improving close processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and familiarity with NetSuite or other accounting software.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, organized, and able to communicate financial information clearly.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing competing deadlines during critical close periods.
• CPA certification or progress toward CPA certification is preferred.
