Location: 100% remote, but available only to candidates residing in CA, D.C., FL, GA, IL, MA, MO, NY, OR, PA, TX, VA, or WA. Working hours must consistently overlap with executives in the Greater Seattle Area.
Base salary: $108,000–$126,000 USD (GeoLo 2), $96,000–$112,000 USD (GeoLo 3), or $84,000–$98,000 USD (GeoLo 4), depending on geographic location.

What you will do
- Advise the CEO on external communications strategy and channel decisions.
- Own media relations across press, podcasts, and broadcast opportunities.
- Develop campaigns around thought leadership, corporate milestones, and product launches.
- Build the CEO’s public platform across LinkedIn, the company blog, bylines, and speaking engagements.
- Ghostwrite talking points, bylines, keynote content, and media preparation materials.
- Manage the PR agency and measure performance against outcomes.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience across PR, media relations, and executive communications.
- In-house experience at a high-growth technology or B2B company.
- Proven success securing earned media and building executive platforms.
- Experience ghostwriting for executives and developing narratives and campaigns for target audiences.
- Experience managing PR agency partners and coaching executives for media, events, and employee-facing meetings.
- Must reside in one of the specified U.S. states and be able to maintain working-hour overlap with Greater Seattle Area executives.
Nice to have
- B2B communications experience with exposure to CIO/CTO audiences and developer technologies.
