Senior Account Executive, Corporate

Location: NYC/East Coast hybrid; candidates in the NYC hub must work in person two days per week. In-person attendance may also be required for client meetings, events, and team meetings.

Salary: $66,000–$80,000 per year

What you will do

• Serve as a strategic voice, account lead, and client-facing communications partner.
• Develop media strategies, press releases, pitches, client notes, media lists, and topical audits.
• Drive media relations programs, proactive outreach, thought leadership efforts, and media opportunities.
• Track account metrics, campaign results, and performance standards across account teams.
• Coordinate client communications, deliverables, calls, and internal meetings.
• Review junior team members’ work, provide mentorship, solve problems, and support new business activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in public relations or integrated communications; agency experience is preferred.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with strong attention to detail.
• Experience securing thought leadership placements in top-tier media and industry trades.
• Ability to understand complex technical material and create compelling corporate and B2B stories.
• Strong prioritization, multitasking, analytical, client relationship, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with media software and AI tools.
• Established media connections or willingness to build them.
