Facilities Technician – 2nd Shift (Aerospace)

Location: Redondo Beach, United States; onsite, second shift

Salary: $35.00–$55.00 per hour

What you will do

• Respond to facility service requests and prioritize work based on safety, urgency, and operational impact.
• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on facility systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, building infrastructure, alarms, leaks, and utility issues.
• Operate and maintain HVAC, exhaust systems, pumps, compressed air, and other industrial utilities.
• Support equipment installations, remodels, facility upgrades, and expansion projects.
• Maintain work orders, maintenance records, and documentation in JIRA and the CMMS system.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on facilities, industrial maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or related experience.
• Working knowledge of electrical, HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, and building systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to read schematics, one-line diagrams, equipment manuals, and construction drawings.
• Applicants must be U.S. Persons or eligible to obtain an export license under applicable U.S. export regulations.

Nice to have

• Electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or other relevant trade certification or license.
• Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, laboratory, cleanroom, or other high-tech environments.
• Experience with 120/208V and 277/480V systems, BAS, generators, emergency power, compressed gases, cryogenic systems, or pumps.
• Experience using JIRA and CMMS software, plus basic plumbing, fabrication, or skilled-trade experience.
