Maintenance Tech:2nd Shift

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, USA; on-site, second shift

Base pay: $24.66–$29.47 per hour

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, HVAC, pneumatic, fire, security, and other installed systems.
• Operate and monitor HVAC equipment, building automation systems, compressed-air systems, motors, control systems, conveyors, PLCs, and switchgear.
• Complete facility inspections, work orders, maintenance records, and general repairs including lighting, painting, drywall, and plumbing.
• Maintain and repair electrical and pneumatic hoists supporting production operations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams for installations and repairs.
• Support after-hours building needs, emergency situations, code compliance, and safe operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least five years of manufacturing industry experience.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and blueprints and apply electrical codes and regulations.
• Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting complex electrical and mechanical problems.
• Proficiency with electrical tools, testing equipment, hand tools, and industrial machinery.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, work in confined spaces and at elevated heights, and tolerate hot and cold environments.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.
