TL;DR
Technical Program Manager (Capital Projects and Minerals Processing): Owning the planning, coordination, and execution of capital programs from development through construction and handover to operations with an accent on integrated schedules, budgets, risk registers, and cross-disciplinary coordination. Focus on managing engineering and construction interfaces, driving critical-path decisions to closure, and supporting commissioning and startup in the field.

Location: San Francisco, United States; on-site

Salary: $150K–$200K annually, plus equity

What you will do

  • Own end-to-end delivery of assigned capital programs from development through construction and handover to operations.
  • Build and maintain integrated schedules covering critical paths, interdependencies, long-lead items, and resource needs.
  • Manage program budgets, cost forecasts, estimates, commitments, variances, and change control with project controls and finance.
  • Coordinate process development, engineering, procurement, construction, business development, finance, vendors, and contractors.
  • Run execution planning, design reviews, status meetings, readiness gates, reporting, and leadership dashboards.
  • Support construction, commissioning, and startup in the field while improving program-management standards and the Capital Project OS.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 4+ years of program or project management experience on capital projects in mining, minerals processing, chemical, energy, or heavy-industrial environments.
  • Experience owning integrated schedules and budgets across multiple engineering disciplines and external partners.
  • Technical fluency with P&IDs, general arrangements, and equipment lists.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as programs require.
