TL;DR
Technical Program Manager, Supplier Engineering & Quality (Semiconductor): Managing complex programs and cross-functional initiatives that improve supplier quality performance across a global semiconductor supply chain with an accent on program strategy, risk management, and business process improvement. Focus on coordinating high-impact projects, developing quality dashboards and metrics, and solving complex operational challenges across internal and external stakeholders.

Location: Austin, Texas or Santa Clara, California, United States. Travel required up to 10% of the time. Relocation is not available.

Salary: $116,000–$159,500 per year.

What you will do

  • Manage multiple programs and projects focused on improving supplier quality performance across the global supply chain.
  • Develop project plans and oversee initiatives from conception through implementation and closure.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with internal customers, and report program status to management and stakeholders.
  • Manage schedules and task details using project management tools such as Jira, SmartSheet, and MS Project.
  • Identify program risks and complications, develop solutions, and resolve complex issues with broad business impact.
  • Improve supply chain quality processes, dashboards, metrics, and supporting applications, and contribute to annual operating plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 7–10 years of experience in high-tech or industrial sectors, including at least 3 years in program or project management.
  • Knowledge of program and project management practices, including initiation, risk management, execution, reporting, and closure.
  • Experience leading projects with significant risk and complexity and developing execution strategies.
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to interpret business challenges and solve unique, complex problems through innovative thinking.

Nice to have

  • Project management certification.
  • Experience in quality, quality management systems, or quality audits and assessments.
