Data Platform Architect (with GCP) - Automation & Innovation Department

Location: Warsaw, ul. Marynarska 12, Poland; hybrid working mode.

What you will do

• Define architectural standards and blueprints for hybrid cloud and on-premise data platforms.
• Set best practices for scalability, reliability, maintainability, compliance, and technology selection.
• Lead the design and integration of Spark-based analytics, Kubernetes workloads, and GCP services.
• Document data architecture, integration patterns, workflows, and system designs for technical audiences.
• Guide engineering and business teams through migration, modernization, optimization, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in data platform architecture or engineering.
• Deep knowledge of GCP, including BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, and Pub/Sub.
• Strong experience with Spark, Kubernetes, data warehouses, and big data platforms.
• Proven leadership in hybrid cloud and on-premise integration projects.
• Strong technical documentation, system design, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with cloud-native migrations, hybrid architectures, data governance, and advanced analytics frameworks.
