Maintenance Manager (Data Centers)

Location: Frederick, Maryland, United States; onsite data center environment

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 plus annual bonus

What you will do

• Manage preventive, predictive, contracted, and general maintenance for mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and critical facility systems.
• Coordinate maintenance and project work with Facility Managers, Site Directors, vendors, contractors, and customers.
• Develop maintenance calendars, issue maintenance notifications, review vendor reports, and identify faulty equipment.
• Review and approve change requests, MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs for maintenance activities and ensure change-control compliance.
• Support asset transitions, customer fit-outs, audits, sustainability and safety initiatives, and capital projects.
• Assist with OPEX and CAPEX budgeting, electrical and mechanical capacity forecasting, code compliance, and the development of operations personnel.

Requirements

• Experience managing maintenance and operations for critical facilities or data center environments.
• Thorough understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, building management, and related facility systems.
• Ability to manage maintenance personnel, contractors, vendors, contracts, schedules, budgets, and project activities.
• Strong change management, planning, organizing, problem-solving, customer service, leadership, and technical communication skills.
• Ability to work in a physical facility environment involving standing, walking, climbing, bending, mechanical equipment, elevated areas, chemicals, and changing weather conditions.
