District Maintenance Manager

Location: Greensboro, NC, United States; on-site field work, including ride-alongs, inspections, ladder climbing, and operation of vehicles and tools.

Salary: $80,155–$100,182 annually, plus eligibility for quarterly bonus payments.

What you will do

• Lead field turn maintenance teams, logistics, and daily workflows for assigned homes.
• Hire, train, coach, and guide field technicians while monitoring performance and operational metrics.
• Manage resources, budgets, financials, and operational KPIs for district assets.
• Conduct field training, ride-alongs, inventory checks, and storage room inspections.
• Oversee quality control, resolve escalated maintenance issues, and ensure company standards are followed.
• Coordinate with vendor management and internal departments to complete maintenance activities on time.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree or technical training certification is preferred.
• Five or more years of progressive responsibility supervising field maintenance, including hands-on experience with hand and power tools.
• At least two years of project management or related capital expenditure experience.
• Knowledge of construction, maintenance, or property management operations; comfort with data, reporting tools, and financial statements.
• Microsoft Office proficiency and working knowledge of OSHA safety standards required.
• Valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, ability to operate a motor vehicle, weekend availability when needed, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
