What you will do

• Write, review, and maintain production code and technical documentation.
• Develop and improve full-stack features for npm and related open-source projects.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external community contributors to define and deliver features.
• Triage and remediate bugs and security vulnerabilities.
• Steward JavaScript ecosystem projects supporting millions of developers and billions of package downloads.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering or related technical experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Proven experience delivering and maintaining production software using languages such as JavaScript, C, C++, C#, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud services.
• 2+ years of experience developing and debugging large-scale projects, applications, or developer tools.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of experience with Node.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud services, including AWS development.
• Experience building applications that meet high security standards.
• Experience using AI-assisted coding and productivity tools.
