Full Stack Software Engineer

Salary: $153,000–$270,000 USD per year, depending on U.S. pay zone, skills, experience, qualifications, and work location.

What you will do

• Design, build, test, ship, and operate services that automate responses to legal, regulatory, and civil requests.
• Develop backend services, internal web tools, and pipelines connecting to upstream systems across hirify.global.
• Build systems within microservice and event-driven architectures while protecting sensitive customer data.
• Translate legal and compliance requirements into durable automated workflows with Counsel, Compliance, and Operations.
• Own production operations, including on-call support, incident response, postmortems, and service modernization.
• Use AI-powered developer tools responsibly and contribute to future LLM-powered agents and secure requester portals.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience or equivalent.
• Experience delivering production software and well-scoped features end to end, from design through operation.
• Experience working across backend services and user-facing operational interfaces.
• Ability to investigate complex systems, identify flaws, and communicate technical tradeoffs to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated AI fluency, including responsible use and critical evaluation of AI-powered developer tools.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• Experience with PII, PCI, privacy, security, or regulatory requirements.
• Experience building internal tools, operational workflows, or case management systems.
• Experience integrating LLMs or agents into production workflows.
• Experience modernizing long-lived, business-critical services.
