Developmental Technician, Facility Services HVAC/R (HVAC/R)

Location: hirify.global Supercenter 02561, Erie, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite facility maintenance role.

Hourly wage: $26.00–$51.00 per hour. Additional premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour may apply in specific circumstances.

What you will do

• Maintain and repair store facilities, equipment, fixtures, and assets using multiple craft skills.
• Inspect, operate, and test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Receive reactive repair work orders through the work order management system and document completed activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Perform primary responsibilities under the direct supervision of an experienced technician while completing required safety training.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Hold and maintain Universal or Type I and Type II EPA certification for refrigerant handling; obtain EPA 608 certification within 90 days of hire.
• Have a valid state-issued driver’s license and pass a motor vehicle report.
• Have either one year of experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or a related area, or two years of hirify.global store experience.
• Maintain an acceptable commercial driving record, including no recent DUI, DWI, or OUI convictions, no more than two moving violations in the last three years, and no preventable commercial motor vehicle accidents in the last three years.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders frequently, work at heights and in varying temperatures, and sit or stand for long periods.

Nice to have

• Commercial HVAC/R, building controls, mechanical maintenance, or construction experience.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and office software.
