Facility Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Wood Dale, Illinois, United States

Salary: $90,000–$105,000 USD per year, plus bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Own facility maintenance, safety, appearance, and operational readiness.
• Lead and develop a two-person maintenance team through standard work and process improvements.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs and building systems to improve reliability.
• Drive facility improvement, workplace modernization, office layout, and collaborative-space initiatives.
• Prioritize and execute facility improvement and renovation requests.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, EHS, and site leadership on projects supporting business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Industrial Technology, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience, including coaching and developing team members.
• Facilities or maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and facility infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, building codes, preventive maintenance, and safety practices.
• Project management, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with CMMS platforms.
• Certified Facility Manager certification or a related credential.
• Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience, including Kaizen, 5S, or Six Sigma.
• Experience with capital planning, budgeting, contractor management, workplace modernization, or space planning.
