Analog Design Intern, MS - Summer 2027 (Semiconductors)

What you will do

• Design and verify test-chip experiments using Verilog simulation.
• Develop, simulate, debug, and maintain Verilog-based test patterns for hardware validation.
• Build and maintain laboratory environments for hardware debugging, diagnostics, characterization, and measurement collection.
• Create Perl, Python, and Tcl tools and automation scripts for design support, laboratory measurements, data processing, and results analysis.
• Analyze, document, summarize, and present characterization and validation results to engineering teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree in MSEE, MSCE, or a related field, with expected graduation between Fall 2027 and Summer 2028.
• Strong understanding of digital logic circuits, memory architectures, I/O circuits, and semiconductor device physics.
• Experience in design and development with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and strong programming and scripting skills in Perl and Python.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams to solve complex technical challenges.
• Eligibility to access export-controlled technology and software under U.S. export control laws may be required; applicants may be subject to an export license review.
