TL;DR
Analyst, Investment Operations (SPV) (Credit and Structured Products): Supporting the operational and middle-office functions for CLO and CFO portfolios with an accent on trade settlement, securitization lifecycle management, reconciliations, and investment compliance. Focus on interpreting complex legal documentation, reviewing waterfall calculations, coordinating third-party administrators, and implementing complex transactions.

Location: hirify.global Place, 181 Bay Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada; onsite

Salary: CAD 65,000–75,000 per year

hirify.global Credit manages private credit investment strategies across infrastructure and renewable credit, real estate, asset-backed, and corporate credit.

What you will do

  • Support trade settlement and lifecycle management for credit securitizations across multiple asset classes.
  • Review legal and financial documentation, including credit agreements, and translate structural requirements into operational processes.
  • Review waterfall calculations and coordinate with third-party administrators and external service providers.
  • Reconcile cash and positions, monitor investment restrictions, and perform post-trade and hypothetical compliance testing.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and support borrower and counterparty onboarding and KYC processes.
  • Collaborate with investment, legal, and accounting teams on complex transactions, product launches, deal closings, and other initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of relevant experience; CPA, CFA, or CAIA designation is preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Exposure to CLO structures, securitizations, or other structured products.
  • Working knowledge of trade lifecycle processes in investment operations or middle office, particularly across alternative assets, private investments, and fixed income.
  • Proficiency in settlement and reconciliation processes, with advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, teamwork, ethics, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Power BI, VBA, and other technical software.
  • CPA, CFA, or CAIA designation.
