Assistant Manager - Optical

What you will do

• Monitor profit, sales, performance goals, and store financial reports.
• Oversee the eyeglass department, inventory control, operational efficiency, and compliance with company policies.
• Lead, supervise, coach, and motivate opticians, contact lens sales associates, and receptionists where applicable.
• Maintain customer service and quality standards, including reviewing remakes and enforcing policies.
• Coordinate promotions, advertising, visual merchandising, associate communication, and store reporting.
• Support staffing forecasts, recruiting, selection, and retention alongside the General Manager.

Requirements

• Optical sales experience; supervising experience is preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach, and build effective associate relationships.
• Understanding of store operations and performance standards.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports.
