Senior Financial Analyst (Real Estate)

Location: Calabasas, California, United States

Salary: $89,739–$110,000 annually, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Analyze internal operational data and produce monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics reports.
• Prepare analyses and supporting materials for SEC filings, investor presentations, earnings materials, and supplemental disclosures.
• Perform financial and business analyses, including trend analysis, forecasting, scenario modeling, and special projects.
• Build, maintain, and enhance financial and operational dashboards using business intelligence platforms.
• Extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets to identify trends and support strategic decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in a related field.
• Strong analytical and data management skills, including gathering, validating, and interpreting large volumes of financial and operational data.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables and XLOOKUP.
• Basic understanding of GAAP accounting, financial statements, and SOX compliance.
• Strong planning, organizational, written, verbal communication, customer, quality, and results-oriented skills.

Nice to have

• Real estate or REIT experience.
• Experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and automated reporting from large, complex datasets.
• CPA certification.
• Knowledge of Yardi Voyager and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
