American Girl NYC - Community and Event Coordinator (Seasonal)

Location: 75 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, New York; American Girl NYC retail store

Salary: $20–$22 per hour

What you will do

• Coordinate planning, communication, and execution for group parties, sales activities, and store events.
• Plan and execute influencer, VIP, PR, and celebrity visits.
• Develop community and hotel partnerships and solicit group prospects.
• Propose initiatives that drive store revenue.
• Coordinate event roles with the retail team, provide training and support, and ensure systems, venue, and inventory are ready.
• Process contracts and other paperwork while resolving customer issues.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of event, party planning, or similar experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Presentation and customer service skills.
• Availability to work days, evenings, holidays, and Friday through Sunday.
