Buyer II (Procurement)

Location: San Diego, California; onsite five days a week

Salary: $89,210–$133,810 per year

What you will do

• Process requisitions and support purchasing, sourcing, cost and price analysis, and contract or purchase order generation.
• Support procurement for wax and investment casting products, including blades, nozzles, and vanes.
• Develop improvement plans covering response time, lean targets, quality, cost, logistics, product development, and management.
• Analyze and maintain assigned procurement processes while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support customer proposals with pricing information and supplier selection.
• Perform analytical and administrative work for purchasing strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Business or supply chain degree; MBA preferred.
• Experience in a buyer or procurement role.
• Knowledge of data analytics, purchasing policies and processes, negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
• Understanding of the casting production lifecycle from wax dies and cores through final machining.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and ERP systems.
• Ability to work onsite five days per week in San Diego, California; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience in gas turbines or the aerospace industry.
• Experience using Coupa.
